GMAT gives access to globally renowned B-Schools.

The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT ) conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is a computer adaptive test designed to measure student’s readiness for business and management courses at postgraduate or doctoral level like MBA. It assesses analytical writing and problem-solving abilities, along with the data sufficiency, logic, and critical reasoning skills that are vital to real-world business and management success. Since 1953, Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) an non-profit organization located in Reston, Virginia has been regulating and administering GMAT in more than 120 countries. More than 7,000 programs at approximately 2,300 graduate business schools around the world accept the GMAT exam. it has been taken more than 230,000 times annually. The average scores required for universities abroad varies; top tier universities require at least 710, while middle tier universities accept 600. Edufoster the best institute in Kolkata, India for GMAT and other MBA prep tests is the most preferred name for the aspirants of renowned B-Schools. The cost of the exam is $250. There must be a gap of not less than 16 days, i.e. the GMAT may not be taken more than once within 16 days moreover, no more than five times in a rolling 12-month period and no more than eight times total, even if the scores are canceled are allowed. Test takers may register for the GMAT either online at mba.com or by calling one of the test centers. To schedule an exam, an appointment must be made at one of the designated test centers.. All applicants are required to present valid ID when taking the test. The GMAT exam is three and a half hours test comprises four sections: an analytical writing assessment, an integrated reasoning section, a quantitative section, and a verbal section. 30 minutes is granted for the analytical writing assessment and another 30 minutes to work through 12 integrated reasoning questions, which often have multiple parts. 75 minutes is allotted time to work through 37 questions in the quantitative section and another 75 minutes to get through 41 questions in the verbal section.
GMAT 2018 Paper Pattern

Analytical Writing Assessment 1 Topic Analysis of an Argument 30 minutes
Integrated Reasoning 12 questions Multi-Source Reasoning, Graphics Interpretation, Two-Part Analysis, Table Analysis 30 minutes
Quantitative 31 questions Data Sufficiency, Problem Solving 62 minutes
Verbal 36 questions Reading Comprehension,Critical Reasoning, Sentence Correction 65 minutes
Total Exam Duration 3 hours 30minutes
The total GMAT score ranges from 200 to 800 and measures performance on the quantitative and verbal sections together (performance on the AWA and IR sections do not count toward the total score, those sections are scored separately). Scores are given in increments of 10 (e.g. 540, 550, 560, 570, etc.). About 68% of examinees score between 430 and 670 More precisely, over the three-year period 2014--2017 the mean score was 556.04 with a standard deviation of 120.45 points. A GMAT test taker has two minutes to decide after previewing his/her unofficial GMAT score: whether to keep or cancel a GMAT score at the test center. A test taker can also cancel a score online within the 72 hours after the scheduled exam start time. A cancelled score can be reinstated for a fee of $50 and for 4 years and 11 months after the date of the test The final score is not based solely on the last question the examinee answers (i.e. the level of difficulty of questions reached through the computer adaptive presentation of questions). The algorithm used to build a score is more complicated than that. The examinee can make a mistake and answer incorrectly and the computer will recognize that item as an anomaly. If the examinee misses the first question his score will not necessarily fall in the bottom half of the range. The GMAT Showcases the skills that matter the most – to schools and businesses – with its unique Integrated Reasoning section. Decades of research confirm that the GMAT exam is a valid and reliable predictor of your academic performance in today’s graduate management programs.
